Please know we will always hold your reservation and our hotel exists, is not in a bad area, is not flooded or burnt down and even if they pretend to call and they tell you to go to a "sister hotel or another one of our chain hotels" this is not true.
You can tell them you already paid and you are booked here to please bring you here or you will get another taxi.
The MOST you should pay a taxi from a bus stop in town to our hotel (any bus stop) is US$3-US$4 -- unless the traffic jam was huge -- the meter starts around C510 (US$1.00).
